Vocational Qualifications

Qualification Credit Frameworks (QCF’s) are work-based qualifications which help to develop and accredit the skills of the workforce. They are achieved through the demonstration of skills.

Achieving a QCF shows you can do a job to the national standards and have the up-to-date skills which employers are looking for. In terms of work, a qualification which proves you can do a job competently is a valuable possession.

Vocational training now incorporates both Intermediate Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships which have been designed to feature high-quality, practical, work-based training and incorporate specified Key Skills/Functional Skills and Technical Certificates together with QCF’s.

Weir Training is committed to providing a quality service for learners to enable them to achieve successful outcomes and meet their career aspirations.
